Reducing the oil mining industries carbon footprint by recycling a wasted byproduct (flared gas) into usable energy that has a minimal impact on the environment.
We contribute to the energy grid by reselling power generated from flared and stranded gas. This strategic move helps bolster the grid network, especially during peak demand periods in extreme cold temperatures when power is scarce.
The emission results from this project indicate substantial reductions in key pollutants compared to direct flaring.
Specifically, there were average reductions of 89.1% in carbon monoxide (CO), 48.1% in nitrogen oxides (NOx), and 92.8% in volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These figures provide a more sustainable alternative to flaring and contributing to reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
